4K DIGITAL RESTORATION
UKセカンドサイトから届いた4K UHD BLU-RAY『ポゼッション』（1981）リリース･アナウンス。本作品のプロデューサーであるマリー=ロール･レールの最終承認を得た、35mmオリジナルカメラネガからの最新4Kデジタルレストア／HDRグレード版。HDRはHDR10とドルビービジョンHDRをサポート。リマスター2.0 MONOサウンドトラック収録。また35mmプリントからレストアされた77分米国公開版を収録。リリースは通常版と限定コレクターズ版の2バージョン。

本作品の4K UHD BLU-RAYは2022年にフランス版、2023年にオーストラリア版がリリースされている（いずれもSDR／BT.709仕様）。本盤は35mmオリジナルネガからの2022年4KスキャンDPX（Digital Picture Exchange）を採用、新たにデジタルレストアとHDR（HDR10／ドルビービジョンHDR）およびSDR（BLU-RAY／R-B仕様）グレーディングを行った最新バージョンである。また新たな特典（コメンタリーと特典映像）も収録している。

撮影は『ブロンテ姉妹』『愛と宿命の泉』二部作のブルーノ･ニュイッテン。パナビジョン･パナフレックス／球面レンズ／1:33:1フルフレーム撮影。上映はソフトマット（プリント時に左右をトリミングした）1.66:1ヨーロッパ･ビスタサイズ。音楽は『大理石の男』『ワルシャワの柔肌』のアンジェイ･コジンスキー。音響エンジニアは『女と男のいる舗道』『史上最大の作戦』などのジャック･モーモン（リレコーディングミキサー）。
