ワーナーから届いた4K UHD BLU-RAY『セブン』（1995）リリース･アナウンス。1年前にリリース･アナウンスがあった後、しばらくプロジェクトが中断。そして9月、ワーナーから「これまでの仕様はリセット、新たに監督フィンチャー監修のもとリブート、2025年初頭にリリース、予約は11月開始予定」と連絡があった。昨日、新たなSTEEBOOK版のデザインがアナウンスされ、いよいよカウントダウンが始まった模様。ちなみにデザインは監督デヴィッド･フィンチャー自ら行っている。Digipackスタンダード版のデザイン、リミックス･ドルビーアトモス採用の是非、特典仕様を含めた詳細はまもなく。乞うご期待！
"Dear Customers, Thank you for your patience whilst we’ve developed our 4K restoration plans for David Fincher’s Seven. We’re pleased to announce that the restoration will finally be released in early 2025, with a brand-new 4K scan carefully overseen by Fincher. We will be releasing two products: a DigiPack and a Steelbook release, both developed and designed by the director himself. These products will replace the previously announced What’s in the Box and Ultimate Collector’s Edition versions. Pre-order for the new products will go live in early November.
