米国盤『エイリアン：ロムルス』2024年12月3日リリース
ALIEN: ROMULUS - 4K UHD BLU-RAY with DOLBY ATMOS
ディズニー（FOX）から届いた4K UHD BLU-RAY『エイリアン：ロムルス』（2024）リリース･アナウンス。HDRはHDR10 only。UHD BLU-RAYのみドルビーアトモス･サウンドトラック収録、日本語字幕＆日本語吹替え音声収録予定。

2142年。LV-410のコロニー、ジャクソン星。（お馴染み）ウェイランド･ユタニ社が管理するこの資源採掘の鉱山都市では、労働者は劣悪で過酷な環境での作業を強いられていた。希望も夢も持てない現状から逃れるため、若者6名が惑星ユヴァーガへの脱出計画を企てる。ジャクソン星上空に位置する使用済み宇宙ステーション「ロムルス」に向かい、そこから冷却睡眠装置を調達してユヴァーガに向かうという計画であった。だが、「ロムルス」へ足を踏み入れた6人を待っていたものは･･･。
SF映画の金字塔『エイリアン』シリーズに新たに加わった本作は、時間軸上では第1作『エイリアン』と第2作『エイリアン2』の間に位置するサスペンスフルなSFアクション･ホラーである。主演は『プリシラ』『シビル･ウォー アメリカ最後の日』のケイリー･スピーニー。リドリー･スコットは製作に専念、監督を『死霊のはらわた』『ドント･ブリーズ』のフェデ･アルバレスが務める。
撮影監督はこれが初の長編映画撮影となるガロ･オリバレス。ARRIアレクサ35／4.5Kオープンゲート撮影。DIファイルは4K。音楽は『ブレードランナー 2049』『IT／イット “それ”が見えたら、終わり。』のベンジャミン･ウォルフィッシュで、ハンス･ジマー主宰のリモート･コントロール･プロダクションのメンバーである。サウンドデザイン／音響編集監修は『THE BATMAN - ザ･バットマン -』のリー･ギルモアとクリス･ターヒューン。
