『ガメラ：ザ･コンプリート･コレクション』は限定エディションのため、現時点では店頭在庫のみの out of stock 状態。さらに在庫分は高値で取引されており、amazon.comでも新品4万円越えとなっている。本作のリリースは8月18日（当初は7月28日）であったが、発売日に「一時的に在庫切れ」「入荷未定」と告知されるほどの人気ぶりであった。もしも急ぎの買い物ではない場合、キャンセルをせずに連絡を待つのがamazon.comでの購入テクニックのひとつ。しばらくしてメールで「キャンセルの是非」を問われることがあるが、辛抱強く待つことで商品を手にできるケースが多い。余程の事情ではない限り、発売前の予約商品を手配してくれる。本作の到着は発売日から約2か月後であったが、予約時の割引価格$125.99で購入できた（定価$179.95）。コロナ禍で揺れた4月～5月の時も同様で、4月に「日本への配達不可」という告知が出てからも、告知前の予約品は多少時間がかかったものの無事に配達された（特にヨーロッパ）。
