パラマウントから、巨匠セシル･B･デミル製作･監督、名優チャールトン･ヘストン主演によるスペクタクル史劇の傑作『十戒』（56）のリリース詳細が届きました。2010年6Kスキャンファイルからの最新ドルビービジョンHDRグレード。

旧約聖書を基に、モーゼの指導者としての成長と変遷、そしてイスラエルの民を率いて聖地を築くまでを描く。デミルが23年の自作サイレント『十誡』をリメイクであり、デミルの遺作でもあります（59年他界）。共演はユル･ブリンナー、アン･バクスター、エドワード･G･ロビンソン

35mm横駆動ビスタビジョンカメラ使用による純正ビスタビジョン撮影作品。撮影は『北海の子』『シェーン』で2度のオスカーに輝くロイヤル･グリッグス。音楽は『荒野の七人』『モダン･ミリー（オスカー受賞）』『エデンより彼方に』のエルマー･バーンスタイン。音響エンジニアは『北海の子』『空の要塞』『絶海の嵐』でオスカー受賞のルイス･メセンコップ（録音監修）、『地球最後の日』『チャイナタウン』のハワード･ビルス（音響編集）。

SPECIAL FEATURES

*As part of the restoration done in 2010, the film was scanned in 6K and those files were
the basis for this brand new Dolby Vision version, which shows off the full beauty of the original VistaVision negative. The VistaVision format used special cameras to feed 35mm film into the camera horizontally in order to capture a wider image spread over two 35mm film frames, giving VistaVision twice the resolution of regular 35mm film. In addition, Paramount spent well over 150 hours doing new color work and clean-up on the scan.
The move to Dolby Vision created the opportunity to further improve the look of the film: blacks are enhanced and improvements were made to smooth out special effects mattes to create the most vibrant and pristine image possible.
