ディズニーから、アカデミー作曲賞／歌曲（主題歌）賞2冠の名作アニメーション『リトル･マーメイド』（89／aka.リトル･マーメイド 人魚姫）の4K UHD BLU-RAYリリース･アナウンスが届きました。
アンデルセン童話『人魚姫』を下敷きに、ディズニー風ミュージカルにアレンジ。アメリカ本国でメガヒットを記録、それまで低迷していたディズニー･ブランド復活ののろしを上げた記念作でもあります。2013年 4Kデジタルレストア･マスターをもとに、HDRグレーディング、ドルビーアトモス･リミックス（2013年劇場公開時に限定アトモス上映）が行なわれており、あの色彩、あのヒット･ナンバーがご機嫌に蘇ること間違いナシ。
